One More Bicycle

Riding bicycles in Bergen Norway is an experience. The experience of shredding epic singletrack close to the city center, bombing Norways most technical DH run off Ulriken, cruising gravel trails on Fløyen and Rundemanen, ripping along quiet coastal pearls of pavement, taking a spin to the local fishing spot or swimming hole. We can choose any one of these options and create for ourselves a magnificent memorable day out on two wheels. Bergen is a breathtaking, awe inspiring collection og natural beauty, cultural sophistication and potential. We have the weather, the monetary funds, the cultural drive, a strong economic incentive and a national environmental heritage as the wind at our back to make the move to two wheels. Potential is what inspired the curation of this web log, the potential for change. The choice in mode of transportation is yours, on foot, public transportation, bicycle, automobile etc. In our wonder city of beauty and sophistication the viable alternatives to the ever dominating automobile can however often seem archaic, misunderstood and underdeveloped. The choice to add one more bicycle to the cityscape is always yours to make, but the means to doing so is often overshadowed by the mounds of perceived boundaries to entry.
One more bicycle, one less car.
